What is podcasting?
Podcasting is the latest in on-the-go, on-demand technology. With podcasting, you can watch video content and listen to audio content whenever and wherever you choose. Podcasts are video files or MP3 audio files that are automatically downloaded to your personal computer, and can be transferred to a MP3 player using a podcasting application.
What equipment do I need?
The basic requirements for podcasting are a computer (PC or Mac), podcasting software (iTunes being the most popular) and an internet connection. For portability, a MP3 player is needed.
How do I get started?
Simply download and install iTunes onto your computer. Then, simply click on the download podcast button and check your computer, and portable MP3 player, for the new podcasts of your selected programs as they become available.
